Jun Tang

Research Associate

Jun got his PhD degree in nutrition in 2018 at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China), where he continued to receive postdoctoral training in 2018-2020. Jun jointed the Laboratory of Human Nutrition and Epidemiology at Westlake University in November 2020. He is now working on the interaction between nutritional biomarkers, gut microbiome, host metabolism and related chronic diseases by utilizing multi-omics including genomics, metagenomics, metabolomics and proteomics.
Research interest: Nutritional epidemiology, nutrition and metabolic diseases, personalized nutrition, functional foods.
